Update on B4008 Crash near Standish

Three people were injured in a road traffic collision on the B4008 near Standish this morning.
The crash, between a silver Renault and a blue VW Bora, occurred on the B4008, half a mile out of Stonehouse at the Ox Lynch turning, at around 10.10am.
Emergency services attended the scene and the occupants of the Renault had to be cut from the vehicle.
The male driver of the Renault was taken by air ambulance to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, while the female passenger of the vehicle was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The male driver of the VW was also taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
None of the injuries are thought to be life threatening.
Following the crash the B4008 was closed at Stonehouse and the Standish junction and diversions were put in place. The road was re-opened at around 3.15pm.

Police are urging motorists to avoid the B4008 near Standish after a serious road traffic collision occurred on the road this morning.
The crash, between a silver Renault and a blue VW Bora, occurred on the B4008, half a mile out of Stonehouse near the Ox Lynch turning, at around 10.10am.
All three emergency services, including the air ambulance, are currently in attendance at the scene.
The B4008 has been closed at Stonehouse and the Standish junction and diversions are in place. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
