One morning Henrietta a two week old hedgehog was found wandering by an RSPCA Inspector and was brought to Summerhill.She was too young and underdeveloped to live in a cage so was placed in an incubator recently purchased just for this purpose!

Blaze, a tiny black female puppy arrived at Royal Gwent Hospital a couple of weeks ago. Nursing staff found her waiting patiently in reception and contacted Summerhill, as the Council Kennels were closed, to let us know that Blaze, as she is now called, had made a wrong turn and arrived in their inpatients area.

Remember, remember the 5th of November. I bet all the dogs in the country remember this day and would rather it not happen. Many other pets also face bonfire night with fear and so maybe some of the advice here will help you protect them.
