WEATHER BEATS USK SHOW
Despite valiant efforts the Organisers of one of Britain's Finest One Day Agricultural Shows have cancelled this year's event, scheduled for Saturday 13th September.
Chairman, Mrs Caroline Turner, says ‘that numerous changes have had to be implemented due to the ground conditions and, with further atrocious weather expected over the coming week, we can no longer ensure the safety and enjoyment for the competitors and public alike.
I am sure that regular Show goers will appreciate everyone's disappointment. The elements have conspired against us this year, so lets all look forward to next years Usk Show, which will take place on Saturday 12th September 2009'.
