ISS Healthcare has positions available across Torfaen and Newport in elderly care, adult and child care, complex care and reablement care.
Ravina Goodland, Training Coordinator for ISS Healthcare, explained: “We are looking for new recruits to help make a difference within communities across Torfaen and Newport by caring for individuals seeking extra support.
“Carers who join our team will be able to train to help to provide quality care for our older service users, enabling them to continue living fulfilling lives in the homes they know and love, or provide flexible, person-centred support at home or in the community for people of all ages with all kinds of physical or learning disabilities or mental health needs.
“We also have positions available in our complex care teams, providing bespoke care, sometimes around the clock, to enable people with complex needs to be supported in their own homes, and our reablement care team, who work with people to re-learn skills and rebuild confidence and independence after suffering illness or injury.
“It is important that people who need extra support are able to remain in their own homes so our carers make sure this happens and assist them with living an independent lifestyle.”
ISS Healthcare provides care support to thousands of people, with services commissioned through authorities in the area or purchased privately by individual service users or their families.
Its aim is to deliver care, which improves the lives of its service users and that treats them, and their families, with respect, dignity and compassion.
ISS Healthcare believes its services should not only comply with regulatory standards, but that it also delivers excellence and promote overall wellbeing.
Ravina added: “We are fighting against the current economic climate and are filling more positions than ever. This is a great opportunity for those looking for a completely new and exciting opportunity to work in this very rewarding role.
“Being a carer is a really satisfying job and gives people the opportunity to carve a career for themselves.
“We offer new recruits a five day training induction and a 12 week onboarding program in order for them to obtain a care certificate. We also offer flexible working hours, both full time and part time, as well as competitive wages, generous holiday allocation and a refer a friend bonus scheme.
“It is a great opportunity for people to achieve a recognised qualification and they’ll also be able to have access to exclusive discounts online and in-store from retailers including Tesco, Primark and Argos.”
ISS Healthcare is looking for kind, committed and reliable people, who have excellent communication skills and a genuine care for others.
Ravina continued: “Being reliable is key to this role as people will be looking after the needs of vulnerable adults. Applicants also need to be even tempered and caring and must enjoy making a positive difference to people’s lives.
“Being patient, able to cope with change and having the ability to display empathy and warmth are also essential. Anyone interested in a position should call 01495 759977 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.”
