Strawberry Tiramisu

I know it's not traditional, but I was eating my summer fruit pudding with mascarpone, and I had a brainstorm. This, my friends, is quite simply amazing!
Servings: 8
Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
3 Medium eggs
4 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
250g Mascarpone cheese
5 tbsp Blackberry liquior (or raspberry, blackcurrant liquior, or what ever you've got)
200g Sponge fingers
100g Strawberries
100g Cherries, pitted
100g Raspberies
2 tbsp Water
2-3 Strawberries to decorate
Method
1. Place all of the fruit into a medium saucepan and heat gently for 5 minutes until the fruits start to loose their shape and release their juices. Pour the fruit into a sieve and collect the juices, do not press the fruit just let it drain and cool.
2. Seperate the eggs in to two bowls. Beat the yolks, vanilla and sugar, until thick and creamy. Beat the whites seperately, until stiff.
3. Add the Mascarpone to the yolk mixture, a spoonful at a time. Stir until smooth. Fold in the egg whites, mixing well until thoroughly combined.
4. Mix the cooled fruit juices with the blackberry liquior in a shallow bowl. Dip half the sponge fingers in the liquid, soaking both sides, and use them to line a serving dish. Pour over half of the cooked cooled fruit and then half the Mascarpone mixture into the dish.
5. Dip the remaining fingers in the liquid and arrange on top. Pour in the remaining half of the fruit and then the Mascarpone and smooth the surface. Cover and chill for about 2 hours.
6. In a small sauce pan reduce any of the left over fruit juices and liquior mixture until it become thick and sticky. Decorate the top with a few extra strawberries and the reduced fruit juice and liquior mix.
