Pretty, elegant and scented - what more could you ask for from a flower? Hyacinths are the perfect cut flower for spring as their fresh scent, pastel shades and delicate flowers will uplift us from the darkest winter moods.
They are fabulous for making a new start as spring comes - Elizabeth Taylor had a crown made of hyacinths for one of her weddings, so they have often been used as a symbol for new beginnings. Tiaras, necklaces and bracelets made with the individual tiny bell-shaped flowers will make any girl feel like a queen!
Treat yourself, or anyone who needs a winter boost, to a spray of wonderful hyacinths and go into spring smiling. They are so versatile, coming in a range of pretty colours to suit any mood or décor - why not buy a different colour every week? Try mixing with your other favourite flowers for the ultimate spring pick-me-up, or look out for the more unusual colours like bright yellow, navy and wine-purple to make a true style statement.
