Website page launched for Brambridge murder investigation
| Published: 14th February 2008 16:02 |
The casebook contains details of the incident and the investigation so far, a statement from Mrs Edmonds's family, details of the appeals for information made through the media, as well as e-fits, CCTV images from the ATM at Tesco Express, Twyford Road, Eastleigh and a map highlighting key sightings on the day of the murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Barton said: "This casebook is a place for people to go to find out more information about the murder of Mrs Edmonds.
"The casebook contains CCTV images, e-fits and photos as well as information about the investigation. The launch of this casebook means that members of the public can now give their information to us via email by using the link in the ‘can you help' box.
"We want to make sure we use all sources available to get our appeal across to as many people as possible. The internet is particularly good at reaching sections of the community that don't access traditional marketing campaigns.
"This remains an active investigation and we still need help from the community. I would encourage people to have a look at the website to see if they have any information that they think may help us. If people have any information that would assist the inquiry they can call the incident room or e-mail their information direct to the investigation team"
