Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Eastleigh on Wednesday, April 23.
77-year-old Audrey Boxall suffered fatal injuries following a collision with a red Mercedes LGV travelling south along Twyford Road at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, April 23.
Officers from the Totton Roads Policing Unit are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a silver Ford Galaxy who was seen driving out of Milton Road onto Twyford Road and into Tesco's Express garage around the time of the collision.
Acting Inspector Paul Newman from the Totton Roads Policing Unit said; "I would urge the driver of this car to come forward as we believe they may hold vital information.
"I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time to contact me as a matter of urgency.
"This is a busy area of Eastleigh, and I'm hoping someone may have seen either the lorry or the pedestrian prior to the collision."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Acting Inspector Newman at the Totton Roads Policing Unit quoting Operation Calkin on 0845 045 45 45 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
