The art of success

Eastleigh College's School of Visual and Creative Arts has achieved extraordinary success in aiding all of its pre-degree foundation students being accepted onto the university courses of their choice.
All 22 qualifying students achieved entrance to their first choice of universities including the prestigious Goldsmiths College (University of London), Wimbledon College of Art and the Chelsea College of Art and Design. A record not achieved by many other colleges in the south.

"This is a testament to the quality of our teaching team and affirmation that our unique approach is the right way." commented David Mackereth, Head of the School.
"This has been backed up by external examiners over the last three years who have commented that students are already working at first year undergraduate level."
Dr Sebastiane Hegarty, Course Manager for the pre-degree foundation diploma and a published specialist in contemporary art practice said "We really are the serious option now in the area for students wanting pre-degree preparation in the creative arts."
Students will be exhibiting their work at the end of year show entitled ‘RISE' on Thursday 12th June at Eastleigh College's Desborough Campus.
RISE will open its doors at 6:00pm and welcomes everyone to come and see the extraordinary work on show.
