"The Greening Campaign" - Public Meeting 25th April
| Published: 21st April 2008 13:24 |
The Greening Campaign is the first initiative that BiFOHH ACC will adopt to enable collaboration across our community in making a difference in our own area in response to the earlier presentation given by Chris Huhne MP
(DVD's of that talk will be available on the night, set out below).
A Notice of the Public Meeting is attached to this message, and some further explanation is given below:
'The Greening Campaign' in Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath
There will be a meeting at Wyvern Technology College in Fair Oak, from 7.30 - 9.30 pm on Friday 25th April, for Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath residents and friends to learn about 'The Greening Campaign' and how this initiative can apply in our locality. 'The Greening Campaign' is a way to increase Environmental Awareness in the wider community, and helps people to realise that by working together in making relatively small and simple changes, we can significantly reduce the amounts of resources and energy we use, and reduce our carbon emissions and waste.
If you and/or some of your colleagues would like to attend our next meeting, we would be delighted to welcome you at Wyvern Technology College on 25th April at 7.30 pm. Fairtrade tea and coffee will be available from 7.00 pm.
You may wish to forward the message to friends and colleagues. I will look forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards
Liz Kent
