Played Hockey Before?
Just looking to get back into it?
Maybe you'd like a chance to try it out?
Or simply want to have some fun on and off the playing field?
........then come to Eastleigh Ladies Hockey Club.
- Teams:
The Club has two ladies hockey teams, playing in the Hampshire Hockey League throughout the hockey season (Sep - Apr). They also field teams in the local floodlit league, participate in a Summer and Indoor League, and enter weekend festivals when numbers permit. - Location:
Home games are played just a stone's throw from the M3 Junction 12, at Thornden School, Chandlers Ford. We visit some beautiful parts of Hampshire for our Away games, and we have plenty of transport to get players to and from those games. - Training:
Training sessions take place on most Wednesday evenings, using the floodlit Astro pitches at Thornden School, in Chandlers Ford. The Club offers a warm and friendly welcome to any new players that come along on the night. You are welcome to join in, and we even have loan equipment for those that want to try the sport before committing themselves. - Social:
Our relaxed Club prides itself on building long-lasting friendships. There are regular social events, away from the Hockey pitch, often in local pubs and restaurants, as well as occasional activities throughout the Summer months. The Social Secretary just tries to create an excuse for a get-together once a month, really, so that we can enjoy ourselves. - Membership:
We believe that our membership and match fees remain the lowest in the area.
We are unable to cater for junior teams at the moment, so players must be aged 14 years or over - however, we have no upper age limit. Enthusiasm wins out over youthfulness every time! So come along, meet new friends, and have some fun.
