Groups and services available to parents and carers
Puff 0 - 4 years
Monday 1.15 - 2.45pm
Parent and child drop in groups which meet weekly on a monday afternoon. This group is run by parents, allowing you and your child to play together in a safe and friendly environment
Tums to Mums - Mums to be (and babies up to 12 weeks)
Wednesdays 10.30 - 12.00pm
Is a group for Mums- to- be, each session covers a different aspect of pregnancy and through to the early days with your baby.
Baby Group 0 -1 year/ First steps 1- 2 years
Wednesdays 1.30 - 3.00pm
These groups are Parent and Child drop-ins allowing you to play with your child without the distraction of home environment and socalise with other parents and children
Baby Clinic
Wednesday 1.30 - 3.00pm
A clinic where you can get your baby weighed
Health Visitor Drop in
Wednesday 9.30 - 11.30am
This drop -in is open to any parent who have any concerns about their child's development
Childminders Support Group(NCMA)
Alternate Tuesdays (starting 6th May) 9.30 - 11.00am (term time only)
A drop-in group for childminders with their children to play and socialise
Twins Club
Alternate Fridays (starting 9th May) 9.45 - 11.15 (term time only)
A group which meets alternate Fridays for parents whom have had or are having twins
Dad's Group 0-8 years
Last saturday of every month 9.30 -11.00am
A group for dads, grandads and male guardians and their child/children (0-8 years)
Spend time playing with your child/children and have a coffe and chat with other dads
Lone Parent's Group
Last saturday of every month 10.00-12.00pm
A group for lone parents and their child/children. Spend time with your child/children, have a coffee and chat with other lone parents.
Young Parents Drop-in (For parents up to 23 years old)
Every Tuesday 11.30 - 1.30pm
A fun, social group for young parents. A chance to meet other young parents, Lunch and creche provided. Professional staff on hand for advice.
Y.E.P (For young expecting parents, mums to be and babies up to 12 weeks old)
Every Wednesday 11.30 - 12.45am
A group for young expectant parents under 23 years old, a chance to meet other young parents

A time for you to join in activities with your older child whilst your younger child is cared for in the creche.
Every Monday Morning (term time only) For parents of 2 or more siblings under the age of 3 years. Please ring to book a place. Creche £1.50

Bounce & Rhyme
A fun music group with an insight into child development

Chit Chat
This course runs for 8 sessions, the aim of the group is to explore and encourgae development in play, speech and lanuage, confidence, interation and independence in a fun setting. A speech Therapist and Play Development Worker lead the sessions

Confident Parent Confident Kids

Do you want to understand your child's behaviour? Learn different ways of encouraging good behaviour, communication and play, disciplining children and reducing family stress. The course runs for 8 sessions which will be informal and fun.
