Our excellent menu caters for all tastes and is cooked to order. Simply place your order at the bar, along with your table number, and your meal will be served at your table by one of our waiting staff. Food is served from 12 noon until 9pm every day.
We're committed to putting fresh organic produce on the menu and with our own on-site allotments, you can sample our home grown vegetables, salad, herbs, beans and rhubarb.
Traditional cream teas of tea, scone with clotted cream and jam are served all day.
The Churchillian is very popular with walkers who are welcome to use our extensive car park whilst they take advantage of one of the many pleasant trails in the area.
A warm welcome is guaranteed on your return both from our staff and our cosy log fire for those colder days.

Looking for a venue to hold a family or business get together? The Churchillian's function room, with even more amazing views, holds up to 40 people and is popular for events such as christenings, wakes and business meetings.
On warmer days, the terrace is available to help make your event extra special.
We can provide a cold or hot buffet from £5.95 per head as well as tea, coffee and jugs of juice or squash. Drinks can be purchased from the bar but you are also welcome to bring your own wine or champagne for a small corkage charge.

The pub specialises in real ale offering Adnams, Arches, London Pride, Old Speckled Hen, Flowers and Abbot Ale. Not surprisingly you'll find The George Inn featured in the 2009 Good Beer Guide.
menuFood is served between 12 and 2pm daily and includes old favourites such as homemade soup, battered cod, steak and kidney pudding, chilli as well as lighter bites such as sandwiches and baguettes. Click on the blackboard to take a look at the full menu.
Known by the locals as "the best pub in the area", the George Inn holds regular quiz nights and has live music every Tuesday evening from 8.45pm.
Charity fun events mean that the George can support the Rowans Hospice too.
