Tulip Tree is on the Mend

John Sanders, our local gardening expert, reported recently on the mindless vandalism to the beautiful tulip tree in Drayton Park. He was devastated to find that the tree had been destroyed after he had sent in the photograph on the left.

John has been keeping an eye on the tree and is happy to report that it is fighting back. John says, "After such appalling treatment, it is amazing how nature fights to survive. The new picture shows how it is fighting to recover and grow again."
