A local charity is looking for people to take part in a five day fundraising trek across the Bükk Mountains of Hungary.
The trek is being organised as part of the 21st anniversary celebrations of The Rainbow Centre in Fareham.
The Rainbow Centre supports children with Cerebral Palsy, adults recovering from strokes or with MS and Parkinson's disease and the families who care for them.
The trek has been designed for all levels of walkers and will take place in May 2012.
There will be a chance on the trip to visit local towns and be involved in a range of activities.
Julie Woodward, Community & Events Fundraiser said that the centre helps the children and adults through ‘Conductive Education' which originated from the Peto Institute in Budapest.
She added: "On the final day of the trip, there will be a visit to this centre to show how the money raised will bring the same opportunities for people here in the UK."
A presentation evening for those interested in taking part in the trek is being held on Tuesday 28 June at 7pm in The "V" Suite of Fareham Town Football Club.
To book your place at the Presentation Evening contact Julie on 01329 289500, juliew@rainbowcentre.org or visit www.rainbowcentre.org.uk. Places are limited to 30 and there will be discounts available for bookings on the night.
