Luke JoynesA teenage music promoter from the Isle of Wight will be bringing his new brand, Atmos Music, to the Portsmouth area this summer.
Luke Joynes, 18, will be moving to Portsmouth in September to study journalism at Highbury College from September and will be promoting gigs on the side.
Luke has already promoted shows with the likes of Matt Owens, formerly of Noah and the Whale, and piano star RHAIN on the Island and hopes his shows will be just as successful in Portsmouth.
His first Portsmouth show will take place on Thursday 20th July at the Square Tower with London acoustic musician Tim Arnold. Tim has played on some of the world's biggest stages, like the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Isle of Wight Festival, and is due to perform at London's Palladium in June. His music was also recently compared to David Bowie by Iggy Pop.
Luke hopes that these gigs will become a regular fixture in Portsmouth's music calendar and hopes to expand out to other venues in the area.
He said, "Promoting gigs is a real passion of mine so I decided I wanted to carry it on for when I move to Portsmouth later this year. Music is a way of bringing people together so hopefully the people of Portsmouth will come together and support what I'm offering".
Tickets for the Tim Arnold show at the Square Tower are on sale now and are available to purchase through atmosmusic.co.uk
