An exhibition with a difference is being held at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard this month.
The Mad Hatters Charity Tea Party, which is usually a one day event, will now be a five day immersive Art Exhibition held in the Horizon Suite at Action Stations.
Becki Short who is one of the organisers started the charity event a few years ago. "It started as an event that I put together for Cystic Fibrosis Kids Portsmouth and we did it as an outdoot event. From there we did it for a few more years and then it evolved."
The event is raising funds for two homeless charities in Portsmouth - Lifehouse in Albert Road and the Bus Rucksack Project.
"This year is something completely different to what we've done previously. This year it's an art exhibition. You are going to walk into the world of Alice in Wonderland. We have created a lot of the chapters and put our own spin on it but it's an immersive exhibition so you can come along, touch things, take photos, maybe even play a game of croquet."
The exhibition takes place from the 21st to the 25th October at the Horizon Suite at Action Stations in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. It is open every day from 10am until 5.30pm. Entry is free with a donation box at the end.
