Have Your Say

"As you may have seen in the Hampshire Chronicle, I am currently running a survey on the cost of living.
I have recently become a member of the House of Commons Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Select Committee.
The committee has launched an inquiry into current energy prices and I am asking local people for information not only about energy bills but also the impact of the rising cost of living.
I can't remember a time when we've seen such rapid increases in food and fuel prices - combined with continued increases in council tax and fares and a significant threatened slow-down to the economy.
For obvious reasons, I am very keen to see that the views and situation of local people are properly represented in Parliament.
I've asked my colleague Martin Tod to set up an online version of the survey at http://www.libertyresearch.org.uk/take/401.
Any individual responses are strictly confidential and for the use of me and my parliamentary office only. They will only be used by me for the purpose of this survey.
If you could spare a few minutes to fill out the short survey online, it would be very much appreciated."
