Write a poem about your home town and you could be in with a chance of winning £1,000, thanks to United Press.
Your poem can be about someone or something from your home town, whether historical, personal or inspired by another aspect of your home town.
Your poem can consist of up to 20 lines and 160 words.
The competition is free to enter and there is no age restriction.
The closing date for entries is 31st December 2008.
