Take a journey through time with "You're History" at Broadlands Estate

A weekend of family fun is promised to visitors of this year's "You're History" weekend at Broadlands Estate in Romsey next month (September).
Due to take place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September from 11am-5pm, the weekend will take families on a historical journey from Ancient Greece right through to modern day.
The two day event will offer youngsters a wealth of entertainment from archery lessons to catapult games and the chance to dress up in historic costumes.
For adults there will also be a historic market with stallholders selling food, drink, clothing and an assortment of goods from throughout the ages.
The grounds of the Broadlands Estate will act as the backdrop for a variety of different battle re-enactments as well as a traditional jousting tournament for all of the family to enjoy in the action packed weekend.

The "You're History" event was previously known as "Blasts from the Past". No pre-booking is necessary and ticket prices for day entry on either the Saturday or Sunday are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children. There are also discounted entry tickets for families, available from £25.
