Worknet exists to provide an accessible resource to promote educational and careers guidance, training and employment services to Hertsmere residents and business.
Worknet believes that its services should be:

An information and help desk is available where our friendly staff welcome inquiries from people of all ages and ability levels.
Worknet believes that the opportunity to learn new skills, particularly in information Technology, improves the employability of people and enhances their lifestyle. Worknet offers a range of courses and workshops in a friendly environment.
- Open learning programmes tailored to individual needs. IT courses from the "Scaredycats" starter course to advanced levels.
- Workshops for people entering or returning to the workforce to help improve their job finding skills.
Worknet is a partnership of local organisations that are working together to provide a range of training, guidance and employment services.
Worknet offers an innovative and practical approach to advising and training local people to raise their level of skills and to improve their opportunities of worthwhile employment.
Most of our services are offered free or at a minimal charge.
