What's happening at Aldenham Country Park this year!

Farmers' Markets - Normally the last Saturday in every month from 10am to 2pm (free car parking) i.e. 31st March - stalls include bread, honey, meat and cheese.


Birds of Prey Demo with One to One with Raptors
12 Noon to 3pm
Wednesdays 4th and 11th April
Wednesday 30th May
Wednesday 25th July
Wednesdays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th August
This is an opportunity to get really close to various wonderful birds and ask questions of the experts.

Easter Bunny Hunt - Wednesday 11th April 2-4pm
Every year the Easter Bunny escapes from the Park with some of his friends into 100 Aker Wood. can you help us spot them all? Paper and pens provided. All correct entry sheets will be put into a draw and one winner will receive a special Easter prize.

Winnie the Pooh's Hunny Trail - Saturday 9th June 2pm-4pm
Help Pooh Bear find his lost hunny around 100 Aker Wood. Collect the question sheet from our refreshment kiosk and follow the clues. There will be a prize draw at the end of the day; cost to enter the draw is 50p.

Summer Tree Walk - Saturday 23rd June 10.30-12.30
Join our Estate Officers at Aldenham Country Park for a gentle walk through the lakeside walk and other areas of interest. Learn basic information about the different trees found at Aldenham and their associated birds, animals and flora. Please telephone the Park on 020 8953 9602 to reserve a place


Teddy Bears Picnic in 100 Aker Wood - Friday 27th July 12noon – 3.00pm
Bring your old teddy bear (or new one) along to 100 Aker Wood and take part in a mass picnic. Events may include story telling and face painting. If wet on the day it’s advisable to wear wellies and outdoor clothes. Don’t forget your lunch!
