Published: 27th June 2007 15:27
Early Learning Centre, Britain's leading children's toy retailer, has introduced a new range of Springwood Farm garden games to encourage active play this summer.

The classic range of garden games has been introduced to tempt children into the great outdoors this spring and summer. The new range of Springwood Farm garden games for 3 - 8 year olds includes cotton jumping sacks with child shoulder straps and animal designs, a coconut shy, farm croquet, skittles, a beanbag rabbit warren target game and quoits with fun wooden farm animal targets. All Springwood Farm games feature a collection of farmyard animals that include a lamb, rabbit, cow, chick, duck and donkey.

The Springwood Farm garden games range includes wooden classics and is designed to help stimulate the imagination. The Farm Coconut Shy set includes six wooden blocks and beanbags while the Springwood Farm croquet set farmyard game includes 6 colourful wooden targets with animal designs, balls and 2 mallets. The Farm beanbag target game comes with a colourful wooden façade and six beanbags, while the Farm Quoits game includes 6 wooden hoops and a series of wooden farmyard animal targets.

The garden games and toys from the Early Learning Centre are designed to aid with child development and to provide family fun through encouraging active summer play. Information is available through the ELC website which outlines how each toy can help in a child's development by aiding physical development, hand to eye coordination or social skills.
