The Hitchin Town Centre Initiative (HTCI), primarily a business organisation, was formed back in 1995 to actively promote, market and campaign for the town.
It is one of the most successful town centre partnerships in the UK, with around 180 members ranging from shops to pubs/bars/restaurants to estate agents to banks. The partnership is run by the Town Centre Manager Keith Hoskins:
"Our mission is to ensure the economic vitality of the town," says Keith, "by creating an ambience for businesses to prosper, both those that are in the town and those that do business with the town."
If you would like to get involved with your town centre partnership contact Keith Hoskins (27 Churchyard, Hitchin; info@htci.org.uk; 01462 453335) for further details. As a supporter you will receive an invaluable monthly newsletter that will keep you up to speed with town centre news, networking meetings, free training availability and social events.
