Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man indecently exposed himself to three school girls in Hitchin.
The incident occurred at around 4pm on Wednesday 2nd July on St John's Road in Hitchin.
The three thirteen year old girls were walking along St John's Road when they saw a man in the cemetery with his trousers and pants down, exposing himself.
The man is described as white, with dark hair and possibly a moustache, and wearing a dark jacket. He is believed to be approximately 45 years old.
PC Andy Spencer at Hitchin Police Station said: "This incident occurred on a main road where there would have been other people around who may have seen something. If you believe you saw a man fitting this description acting suspiciously in the area at the time, I'd urge you to contact us.
