A Fun Day at Highbury Infant School and Nursery

Highbury Infant School and Nursery held a Family Fun Day at the weekend. This formed part of the National Family Learning Festival, aimed at getting family members of all ages to have fun together through a range of activities. The event was partly funded by The Extended Schools Consortium.
All the activities were free of charge to families and included Face Painting, Computer Games, Craft Activities, Music Sessions and a Magic Show. The event was also supported by the Police and Scenes of Crime Team, Hitchin Library and Hitchin Museum and the All Nation Voices Choir.
The Headteacher, Mrs Avey, said "The day was enjoyed by so many families. It really brought the community together. We are grateful to everyone who gave their time voluntarily to run an activity."
