The people of Hitchin and surrounding areas are being cordially invited out on 'A Date With The Divas' - an open-air musical extravaganza taking place on Saturday 26th July at 7.30pm in the beautiful grounds of Gosmore End Care Home.
Show impresario Kevin Dalton explained...
"After the phenomenal success of ‘The Voice Of Hertfordshire' singing competition in 2007, it was obvious that the calibre of the singers would mean they would be able to perform a live show as a group. With grateful thanks, the Four Seasons Care Home has given us the venue to perform at and Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire is our principal sponsor."
It will be a family event, with the opportunity to picnic in the park, and the aim is to raise as much money as possible for care homes in Hertfordshire - Hertfordshire Divas is an end user donator, so the whole amount raised will go exactly where it's supposed to without the need to deduct administration costs.
Tickets cost £5 (children over 12 years £2; children under 12 free) and are available from Hitchin Town Centre Initiative (27 Churchyard, Hitchin, Herts SG5 1HP; 01462 453335) and Upper Tilehouse Street Baptist Church (Hitchin, Herts SG5 2EE; 01462 621983).
