Broxbourne's Summer Fair 2012
Entertaining the masses - Broxbourne's Summer Fair 2012 (notice the dry pavements!)
Broxbourne Council, along with the support of various local community groups and organisations, held a Summer Fair in Waltham Cross town centre on Saturday 9 June 2012 between 10am and 2pm. The event was well attended by large crowds who gathered to enjoy the free entertainment.
Attractions in the town centre included charity stalls and presence from local organisations such as The British Heart Foundation, Broxbourne Crime Prevention Panel, Hertfordshire Regional College and the National Blood Donor Service. In addition, East Herts Scouts group attended with a climbing wall for visitors to try, alongside face painting for children.
Street entertainment was provided by Burleigh Primary School, Deegan Academy of Irish Dancing, Valle Academy, Purnagyan Dance Academy, Fairfields Primary School and The Ace Academy.
