Employ Apprentices and You Could Be Eligible for Up To £4500 in Funding!

The Government is currently offering employers incentives of £1,500 to recruit an Apprentice. The £1,500 is in addition to the training costs of the Apprenticeship framework which are met in full for young people aged 16 to 18, and 50% for those aged 19 to 24. Employers can recruit up to 3 new apprentices under the ‘AGE16 to 24' incentive scheme. However this must be stated at the beginning of the agreement stage. For full eligibility details please visit the apprenticeships.org.uk website.
The offer is available to employers with fewer than 250 employees, who have not recruited an apprentice in the previous three years. The apprentice must be between 16-24 years of age.
The Government's aim is to get young people back into work, whilst supporting them in developing the skills they require for a successful career. The business benefits of Apprenticeships are well documented. They include higher productivity, improved competitiveness and increased job satisfaction.
