Broxbourne Celebrates World Forestry Day
Broxbourne Council will celebrate World Forestry Day at Cedars Park, Theobalds Lane, Cheshunt on Saturday 17th March between 10am and 2pm. Trees will be planted as part of the Cedars Park development project.
Community groups and individual volunteers are invited to come and help plant native species in order to create a woodland screen. The Mayor of Broxbourne, Cllr Eddy Rowland, will plant a mulberry bush to commemorate the death of King James I at the site on 27th March 1625.
The event is free to attend and visitors are asked to meet at the new maze at 10am.
