HERTS POLICE HAS GOT THE X FACTOR WITH NEW FACEBOOK COMPETITION
BECOME a fan of Herts Police on Facebook® - www.facebook.com/hertspolice - and you could be in with a chance of winning two tickets to see this year's X Factor stars One Direction and Katie Waissel.
One Direction, who reached the final of the talent competition, and Katie will be appearing at 'The Forum' in Hatfield on Sunday, January 2nd 2011 for 'The Forum's Got The X Factor' event.
One Direction - made up of five teenagers - Harry Styles, Zain Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - were mentored on the ITV singing contest by judge Simon Cowell and are tipped to be the UK's next big boy band after JLS.
The event will be hosted by X Factor voiceover man Peter Dickson.
Doors open at 1pm and the autograph signing session with One Direction and Katie Waissel will take place between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. It is worth noting, however, that not everyone will get to meet the X Factor finalists due to time constraints.
Auditorium doors open at 2.30pm and the live performances start at 3pm.
To be in with a chance of winning this unique prize, you need to follow these simple steps: -
- Answer a simple question at http://www.herts.police.uk/facebook/competition.php
- Then become a ‘fan' of Herts Police on Facebook® - the page can be found at www.facebook.com/hertspolice. And that's it!
The competition closes on Tuesday, December 28th 2010. You must not be an employee of Hertfordshire Constabulary or a relative of a Hertfordshire Constabulary employee. Those people who have already become a ‘fan' of Herts Police on Facebook® will not be entered into the competition unless they answer the question.
The lucky winner will be drawn randomly from everyone who has become a ‘fan' of the Constabulary on the Facebook® page on Wednesday, December 29th 2010 and they will be notified via telephone.
To become a ‘fan' of Herts Police on Facebook®, users simply need to go to www.facebook.com/hertspolice.
The Facebook® page provides the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues via a discussion forum. It also boasts a photo gallery of ‘most wanted' criminals, campaign and crime prevention videos and a blog, dubbed a ‘Plog', which gives updates on new PC Ross Paybody's activities as he trains to become a police officer.
