A brand new event is happening this weekend (25th & 26th September) at Leyton Marsh. OK, so it's not in our area, but it's close enough to get to within about half-an-hour. Amazing program of activities for all ages. And it's only three quid for adults, and totally FREE for children.

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority has been successful in retaining all eight of its prestigious Green Flag Awards. The Authority's historical site at Waltham Abbey Gardens will also continue to hold its Green Heritage Site status and is this year joined by Myddelton House Gardens, the former home of legendary plantsman E.A. Bowles, in Enfield.
