Notes:
- Holidays are Good Friday (21 March 2008), Easter Monday (24 March 2008) and May Day Monday (5 May 2008).
- 2 Days - Casual Holiday - to be allocated by School Boards. NOTE: It is strongly recommended to school Boards that this takes the form of an extended weekend break on Friday 8 and Monday 11 February 2008. Check with your school to confirm local holiday dates. The School Calendar for year 2007/2008 can be downloaded as a pdf file from the Current Documents section on the right.
Regional Closures:
- Monday, 13 August 2007 - the first day back after summer
- Thursday, 7 February 2008 - the Thursday before the February holiday
- Monday, 7 April 2008 - the day following the Easter holiday
Area Closures:
- Monday & Tuesday, 5 & 6 November 2007 (Mid & West Area - Skye and Lochalsh, Lochaber, South and West Ross)
- Monday & Tuesday, 19 & 20 November 2007 (North Area - Caithness, Sutherland and North East Ross)
- Monday & Tuesday 26 & 27 November 2007 (Central Area - Inverness, Badenoch/Strathspey and Nairn)
