Research shows women's feet get too hot to trot

The ‘Save the Feet' campaign urges women to take the heat off their feet following a new investigation. The study has revealed that Women's penchant for fashionable footwear combined with an active lifestyle could be taking its toll on their feet.

Women are renowned for taking care of themselves, so it may come as a shock to learn that women have up to four times more foot problems than men.[1] The new ‘Save the Feet' campaign is highlighting the importance of foot care and has conducted a ‘high tech' thermal imagery investigation to find out how hot women's feet get as a result of their busy lifestyles.

The campaign and investigation is part of the launch of new Daktarin Aktiv Ice Cooling Spray. This handy new spray is designed to give worn out, hot feet icy cool relief that leaves them tingling with menthol freshness.

Research conducted by a thermal image camera shows how hot feet can become as a result of our physical activities, from running on a treadmill to just going about your daily routine. These colour images help to show why, at the end of a long day, feet often feel irritated and uncomfortable.

Save the feet urge you not to ignore your feet when they feel tired and hot. Instead, make yourself and your feet feel better by using Daktarin Aktiv Ice Cooling Spray which will refresh your worn out feet instantly. The new spray also contains an antifungal ingredient to help protect from fungi and keep feet healthy.

Daktarin Aktiv Ice Cooling Spray is available from £5.49 at pharmacies and supermarkets nationwide. Sampling activity will take place at selected supermarkets during the hot summer months of June and July. To find your nearest venue and for more information on the ‘Hot foot' investigation, along with hints and tips on how to ‘save' your feet, visit http://www.savethefeet.co.uk/

Please note that the Save the Feet website will be up and running by May 2007.
