SHOPS IN PETTS WOOD

With reference to Fiona Fogden's letter in the September edition about what she would like to see in Petts Wood, I thought it might be good to give praise to those businesses that I use regularly and recommend them to other residents.
I know Petts Wood has many restaurants and hairdressers but in my opinion the following two Petts Wood businesses really stand out from the rest:
Restaurant: The truly outstanding one was 'The Oriental Classic' Chinese restaurant in Queensway. The food and service were first class and the price extremely good too. The restaurant has recently closed for refurbishment and is to be reopened as the ‘Coral Sea' - I'll be visiting it soon to check it out.
Hairdressers: If you are looking for a fabulous haircut, colour etc. look no further than 'Loop' in Queensway. They are helpful, friendly and fantastic at their craft. I have recommended Loop to many of my friends and they have not been disappointed, so give it a try.
I would also like to give a special mention to the following businesses that I use regularly and remain favourites of mine. They are friendly, helpful and professional, provide brilliant customer service and, above all, they are a great asset to our community. I thoroughly recommend them and suggest the residents of Petts Wood give them a try.
They are: Alna Vi, Darrell's Barbers, The Face & Body Clinic, Behar Carpets, Queensway Autos, Petts Wood Coffee & Sandwich Bar, Cocoa Pod and Deli Kats. Also a mention to Just Flowers (a great shame to see them cease trading at Station Square but they are still available for flower orders by phone).
Hopefully, other residents might have 'favourite' businesses in Petts Wood and I look forward to seeing them recommended in the Gazette in the near future.
