We asked...
When on holiday, what three things would you not leave home without?
Jo: A decent book to read.
Irene: A bottle-opener.
Sally: I always wrap a sharp knife in a tea towel and pack it in my luggage. Then when I get to my destination I can use it to have lunch on the beach.
When going away, what one thing are you most likely to forget?
Jo: A beach towel.
Irene: A phone charger.
Sally: Shoes.
What's your most handy travel item?
Jo: A corkscrew.
Irene: A toothbrush, phone and camera chargers (travel adaptors- that's three items I know!)
Sally: A knife and a tea towel.
(Other items the ladies suggested are handy included a torch and a miniature screwdriver set!)
What are the current top three most popular destinations?
Florida, The Red Sea and New York.
What are the most up-and-coming destinations?
South America and places like Vietnam and Cambodia.
What is the new travel trend?
Aqua Zorbing (you get in a plastic ball and roll down a hill and the Aqua part means that the ball is filled with water) is especially popular with Stag Weekends.
What's you favourite destination?
Sally: Safari in Zambia
Irene: Mauritius
Jo: Sri Lanka
Where have you always wanted to go but not been?
Sally: South Africa
Irene:  the Far East
Jo: Peru
What's the best thing about travelling?
Sally: Discovering new cultures
Irene: Discovering new places
Jo: Sampling new cuisines
What's the worst thing about travelling?
Sally: Getting there
Irene: Delays
Jo: Flights in general and transfers
What's the most fun destination worldwide?
Las Vegas (all agree)
