The Sky is not the Limit for Local Man

Local businessman Peter Jones was reading a small article in the New Scientist when he came across the details of a worldwide competition to build a satellite which will orbit the earth nine times...for under a thousand pounds.
This prompted him to attempt to realise his childhood dreams by using all the experience that he had accumulated over the years as an engineer and his lifelong involvement with electronics, physics and computer science. An ambitious task and one that has as yet only tempted six teams; three in the US, one in Australia, one in South Africa....and Peter Jones from Orpington. His team consists of his wife, Angela, and his children
Many of the details of the project are, frankly, way too complicated for us here at AboutMyArea so we would recommend that those of a more technological bent visit the official website which is www.nebula-aerospace.com. There are also opprtunities for people to help in the project by providing sponsorship both monetary and material but again details are available through the site.
In the meantime all that remains to say is Peter...keep on reaching for the stars and the best of luck with your project.
