During this last year Orpington Safer Neighbourhood Team have set up 'Business Watch' in Orpington High St. This has been introduced to all major stores and businesses in the High St. This system is our way of helping the major stores to combat problems related to low level thefts, anti-social behaviour and banning. The system includes a photo gallery, which will help identify prolific offenders.
Regular 'Truancy Patrols' have been on our agenda and has been conducting weekly by our team. This has been supported by all the schools in the area. The Schools in Orpington have pride in giving students the best education also support to any special needs they may have.
The Orpington Safer Neighbourhood Team have been conducting cleanup projects, which is still ongoing in the Ramsden Estate. This cleanup consists of graffiti cleanups, vehicle removals and recently a successful garage cleanup was conducted to prevent any misuse of garages in the Ramsden Estate.
