Braidwood Playgroup is situated in the village of Braidwood and you can find us in the Community Hall on Braidwood Rd. The group is highly thought of and has been established in the village for over 30 years. Our playleaders have many years of experience and are committed to the group.
Braidwood is a friendly playgroup where you and your child will be made welcome. We aim to provide a safe, caring and welcoming environment, which will be bright, stimulating and enjoyable. We have a range of policies on safety and relevant procedures, which are kept in the playgroup and can be seen on request.
Our group offers play experiences for children aged 2 1/2 - 5 years. We are open on Monday, Wednesday,and Friday mornings from 9.30 to 11.45 am. Throughout the morning sessions and circle time we aim to encourage and enhance the childrens existing physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills. Children in their pre-school year are invited to join our 'Rising Stars Group!'
To boost funds, for art materials, toy replacements etc, we have sponsored events and hold an annual 'fun day' in the hall. This is open to the public and has proved a great success in past years.
