Water Farm goes International

local charity the water project who for the last 18 months have been delivering their innovative educational programme water farm in local schools have now gone international.
After visiting southern india in october and january and visiting a number of schools and children's projects, negotiations with representative volunteers have agreed to share the programme in tiruvannamalai, a province of Tamil Nadu, with their respective organisations and other schools.
The Shanti Project, R.O.P.E. and marudum farm ahve agreeded to deliver the first wave of lessons with children. they have been given free lesson plans which cover a range of topics such as Water, Nature, Environment, Animals and the Land, in order to cultivate positive attributes and qualities such as Care, Kindness and Compassion.
The Lesson are seen as a way of developing an awareness of global issues such as climate change and that by having a caring and compassionate attitude towards the wider natural world children will appreciate planet Earth and its habitat and resources.
The Water project has been working tirelessly to share this inportant work with the global community especially children as they are the future and to raise their oiwn awareness of such issues will make an impact of their lives.
The Charity is also seekinh support from the wider business communhity to help with the publication of the manual and lesson plans, and such help would be firmly acknowledged by the children and ourselves to supporting their education in its widest sense.
