St. Mary's C. E Primary School Open Day
| Published: 6th October 2011 15:29 |
On Friday 7th October, St. Mary's C. E. Primary School on Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall, is holding an open day to give parents and children an opportunity to meet staff, children and current parents.
Tours will be available from 1.30pm, providing those considering the school for their children the perfect opportunity to see the school during the day and ask questions.

The most recent OfSTED inspection in March 2010 considered St. Mary's to be a good school, where children thrive in an atmosphere of high expectation. The Early Years Foundation Stage was noted to be outstanding.
The inspection found that pupils feel exceptionally safe and secure and have extremely positive attitudes and show exemplary behaviour.
In addition to achieving well, pupils are very polite and courteous because they are valued and respected and each pupil is valued as an individual.
The new extension to the school has meant a breakfast club is now available for children whose parents prefer to drop off early to avoid the traffic, or who have to start work early. A number of after school clubs are also offered and past activities have ranged from cookery and gardening to football and gymnastics.
For more information please contact the school 01706 216407.
