New Horizons

New Horizons was established nine years ago by a group of former cancer patients of Rossendale Hospice. The aim was to maintain the link with the Hospice, but at the same time move on and look forward to the future.
The Group welcomes new members who have experienced cancer.
New Horizons meets at Rossendale Hospice every Monday from 9.30am - 3.30pm and offers an informal 'drop in' facility in the morning, when members can come along for a coffee and a chat. In the afternoon, the aim is to promote things of interest and the sessions involve organised activities such as talks, outings, entertainment and craft workshops, amongst others.
A donation of £1.50 per person for the sessions is collected each week towards the cost of running the facility and providing refreshments.
New Horizons is also involved in fund-raising activities for Rossendale Hospice. Details of their events will be communicated via your AboutMyArea website.
