St.Nicholas Parish Church
There has been a church on this site since 1511 when it was closely linked with Whalley Abbey.
The Parish Church is now part of a larger group of other parishes served by a Team Ministry. Team Rector is Revd. Rod Bevan and Team Vicar is Revd. Sue Davies.
The present church was consecrated in 1826 by the bishop of Chester.
The font was constructed from the reading desk. The Caen stone pedestal was shortened and a carved oak cover was provided by Langshaws of Whalley in 1899.
Most of the stained glass is from Mayer & Company, Munich.

Sunday: 10.30am Sung Eucharist
Wednesday: 10.15am Said Eucharist 1662
Prayer Group: every 2nd Thursday 8.00pm
All Age: every 1st Sunday 10.30am
Praise & Play: every 1st Friday 9.30am
