It's open to everyone

The baby unit at the Community Centre.

Childcare services are open from 7.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year. We offer care for children aged 0-10 within our baby unit, nursery, pre school, out of school or holiday club.

The pre school accepts the Nursery Educational Grant to provide
free care for eligible children before the reception year. We follow
‘The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum' alongside ‘Every
Child Matters.'

Session times:
(7.30am-8am available at extra cost)

8am - 6pm                  Full day
8am - 1pm                  Half day
1pm - 6pm                  Half day

9.15 -11.45am            Nursery Education Grant Sessions

12.45 - 3.15pm           Nursery Education Grant Sessions

Children's Centre

Children's Centres offer significant opportunities for improving outcomes for children.

They offer access to:

• Early Education integrated with Childcare
• Family Support and outreach to parents
• Child and Family Health services.

They also act as a hub within the community for parents and providers of childcare services for children of all ages - offering a base for Childminder Networks and a link to other daycare provision, out of school clubs and extended schools. Children's Centre will also have links with local training and education providers, Job Centre Plus and Children's Information Services.
