Whether you're a regular skier or a complete novice, Ski Rossendale has a package to suit you. And best of all, it's on your doorstep, outdoors, and offers fantastic views of the Rossendale Valley.
Taster Sessions and Courses
If you've never skied before and don't like the idea of signing up to a course of lessons, a ‘Ski Taster Session' is the perfect solution.
The session lasts for 50 minutes and gives you chance to learn the basics whether as part of a group or as an individual.
Should you like it and wish to take your new-found interest further, why not consider enrolling on a Beginners Course? Consisting of four 1 hour 45 minute lessons and one coaching session, this course teaches you how to control your direction and speed and, perhaps most importantly, stop!
Having mastered the basics, you can move onto an Improvers Course. Again consisting of four lessons lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes and one coaching session, this course helps to improve your confidence on the slopes, whilst developing your turning ability and control. This course involves skiing from the top of the main slope.
Finally, the Intermediate course (four 1 hour and 45 minute sessions and one coaching session) teaches you to ski parallel and improve your parallel turns.
Should you prefer a teaching approach that is more tailored to your individual needs and ability, private lessons lasting 50 minutes are available for £55 per lesson.
Personal Performance Training is also available which enables you to receive coaching tips whilst you ski.
Kids Club
Ski Rossendale's Kids Club operates on Saturday mornings and enables children to develop their skiing ability through play and fun sessions.
Holiday Courses
For a crash course in skiing, courses are offered over a two-day period, which consist of four lessons of 1 hour 30 minutes each (a 10 minute break is included per lesson).
These cost £85 for adults and £65 for children.
A trip to Ski Rossendale could help you to discover a new way of keeping fit whilst having fun.
Snowtubes are a fantastic way of enjoying the slopes without donning a pair of skis or a snowboard.
Over 8's sessions on the snowtubes are available from 5.00 - 6.00pm on Monday, with a family session being offered on Thursday from 6.00 - 7.00pm.
You can also book the snowtubes at other times - please contact Ski Rossendale for availability. And, if you're stuck for party ideas, why not consider a snowtube children's party? Your time tubing on the slopes will be followed by a party meal.
