Get Your Bus Pass From STAN in Rossendale

Applications for concessionary travel cards (NoW Cards) can now be received by staff on Rossendale Council's customer services vehicle - STAN.
Staff on STAN, which visits many locations throughout Rossendale, have been trained in how to receive and process the applications for NoW Cards.

Applications for passes will be checked onboard STAN and forwarded to Lancashire County Council for processing.
Faulty cards can also be returned through STAN and application forms for travel passes can be picked up on STAN.
The service provided onboard STAN is in addition to the processing service provided at the One Stop Shop in Rawtenstall by staff from Lancashire County Council.
Rossendale Council's Deputy Leader, Councillor Sean Serridge, said:
"This will make life a lot easier for residents throughout the borough, particularly those who find it difficult to get to Rawtenstall. STAN is a fantastic service - taking council services out into the community and making them more accessible. Hundreds of people apply for a NoW card each year and being able to process these for people onboard STAN will be a big help to them."
