They could ultimately win a prize of £1,500 to go to the charity or organisation they are involved with, courtesy of the Lions movement.
The Young Ambassador competition is open to those over the age of 15 and under the age of 19 years who are active in voluntary community related activties.
Those wishing to enter will be met by the Club and the suitable candidate entered into the Lions District final in Garstang next January when they could win £250. The winner will then go through to the National final in Dudley. All those taking part will recieve £500 while the person crowned Young Ambassador will receive an additional £1000. They will represent the UK in a Eurowide event to take place in Finland which will feature Young Ambassadors from across the continent.
