Updated bus guides have been produced to help county residents plan their journeys.
The leaflets, produced by Leicestershire County Council, contain the latest details on bus frequencies, stops and routes and are available now either by request , online at www.leics.gov.uk/transport_downloads or from local libraries and service shops.
There are 14 guides in the series, each covering a town or part of the county, including one about bus services to Glenfield Hospital, Leicester General Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary.
In addition to the town guides, the updated Leicestershire Bus Map and Guide - which contains information on all services and includes a network map showing connections operating across Leicestershire - is also available to assist with cross county journey planning.
Lesley Pendleton, Leicestershire County Council Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport, said:
"The new bus map and town guides are valuable tools for bus passengers to enable them to plan hassle-free journeys.
"People choosing to travel by bus are not only helping to tackle road congestion but also reducing their carbon footprint at the same time."
Guides are available for: Ashby de la Zouch, Blaby, Coalville, Fosse Park, Hinckley, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Measham, Melton Mowbray, Oadby, Syston, Wigston and hospitals in Leicester, as well as the Leicestershire Bus Map and Guide.
Residents and visitors can also sign up to a mailing list to receive notification of changes to bus services in their selected areas.
The guides are available at www.leics.gov.uk/transport_downloads, by calling 0116 305 0002 or by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
The council also produces a Central Leicestershire Bus Map, in partnership with Leicester City Council, which can be accessed via: www.leicester.gov.uk
