Vital Jobs Skills On Offer In Leicestershire

Vital jobs skills such as computing and languages are among those on offer from the county council's adult learning courses.
To mark adult learning week, the council has unveiled its wide range of day and evening courses for this year.
David Sprason, Cabinet member for adults and communities, said:
"I would encourage people to look at the wide range of courses on offer, especially those which can help people get into work."
Courses on offer include:
Learning for work:
Free Maths and English up to GCSE , CV Workshops and Confidence Building
Beginners' Computing, SAGE Computerised Accounts, Touch Typing, ECDL (ITQ), digital Cameras, Photo editing, Website Design, Family History and On-line Shopping.
Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. British Sign Language and Makaton, and ESOL - English for speakers of Other Languages.
Astronomy, First Aid, Human Health & Physiology GCSE, Cookery and Sugarcraft.
Visual and performing arts and crafts:
Painting, Drawing, Dressmaking, Glasswork and Stained Glass Workshops, Jewellery Making, Floral Design and Guitar.
Enrolment starts on May 21st. There is a 20% discount on course fees until 31st July 2012 - quote code ALWPR
Other discounts and easy payment options are also available and free English and Maths courses up to GCSE level.
