A local young woman (St Neots) from Beacon Wealth Management Ltd is celebrating achieving Chartered Marketer Status.
At a time when many people are anxiously waiting for their exam results, Katie Kitson has already been informed that she has achieved Chartered Marketer status.
‘It has been a very busy couple of months, from getting married, preparing/rehearsing to perform in the Paralympic Opening Ceremony and RENT the musical (with VAMPS) and now I have achieved Chartered Marketer Status, it has definitely been a bit of a whirlwind' commented Katie, 25.
‘Once I began working full time - after University - I started to think about working towards gaining Chartered Marketer status. I have been in touch with my University (The University of Huddersfield) throughout the process and believe I am the first from my course (BA(Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications) to achieve this status, which I am very proud of.'
In order to obtain Chartered Marketer status, Katie had to meet a demanding criteria for two years in a row (which is something she will have to continue to do every year), as well as having gained the right qualifications and held a management role for a minimum of two years.
‘As a company we encourage our team to grow and develop, and are pleased that we have some of the highest qualified individuals in the area working for us at Beacon Wealth Management Ltd. As a company who already has Chartered status we appreciate the amount of effort and knowledge required to gain such a title and would like to congratulate Katie on her achievement' commented Tony Larkins, Beacons Managing Director and Chartered Independent Financial Planner.
